Environmental responsibility

Responsible IT service provider

Our environmental responsibility as a provider of IT services is reflected in all our activities: our processes and services are designed in such a way that the use of energy, natural resources and raw materials is as efficient as possible, we ensure responsible lifecycle management of devices and we favour partners that promote sustainable development. Our operations are certified in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 14001 environmental management system standard.

We are actively seeking to move to newer, more energy-efficient and more environmentally friendly solutions in technologies. We offer sustainable digital services that allow our customers to be more resource smart and climate friendly.

Netox's Goal: Carbon Neutrality by 2035

  • The electricity of all the data centers used by Netox is produced with renewable energy sources
  • Netox uses the rental service to purchase IT equipment for its own use
in use as well as for sold devices. The rental devices returned to Netox are delivered to a partner who takes care of their further rental/sale. The rental service enables a longer equipment life cycle and reduces the purchase of new equipment.
  • In terms of packaging materials, packaging can be reused.
For example, the packaging of incoming transports is used in the packaging of outgoing transports.

Towards a Greener Work Environment

We are taking our work environment and working methods in an increasingly green direction. Environmentally aware and committed personnel are prerequisites for the development of responsible operations and continuous improvement.

Netox's climate road map – towards more sustainable practices

We take concrete measures to promote environmental awareness and reduce emissions. We have created a climate roadmap in which we set ourselves the goal of being carbon-neutral throughout our business by 2035. The climate roadmap includes concrete targets and measures to reduce the environmental impacts for the coming years. These measures include taking environmental responsibility into account in procurements, the use of renewable energy sources and supporting low-emission commuting.

We calculate our carbon footprint annually for our entire business (Scope 1–3) to monitor the achievement of our emissions reduction targets set out in the climate roadmap. Calculating our carbon footprint helps us understand in depth where emissions come from and how to reduce them.

Netox Ltd is committed to being a carbon-neutral company by 2035, and by 2030, our goal is a 100% reduction in scope 1–2 emissions.
