Netox is acquiring the entire share capital of Digikuu Oy, which specializes in Microsoft 365 services. The strategic acquisition expands Netox’s service offering and strengthens its position as a provider of IT, cybersecurity and particularly Microsoft services. Netox’s and Digikuu’s owners signed the agreement on May 31, 2023, and the transaction was executed immediately. Following the acquisition, Netox’s ownership base will expand as the shareholders of Digikuu and some of the key personnel of Netox become Netox’s shareholders.
Netox’s CEO Mikko Luhtaniemi comments on the acquisition as follows: “Based on our strategy, we’ve been actively developing our Microsoft service offering and focusing on building our M365 expertise in both our IT Services and Cybersecurity businesses. We’re very pleased to have Digikuu’s multi-skilled professionals join our team of experts. This will further strengthen our expertise and support our goal of offering our customers the best possible IT and cybersecurity services.”
Digikuu is the only company in Finland fully specialized in the 365 product family, offering solutions for all Office 365 and Microsoft 365 needs. The company’s experts have migrated more than 200,000 end users to the Microsoft 365 cloud service and helped customers achieve significant improvements in productivity and information security.
Chairman of the Board of Digikuu Ville Kankare comments: “We’re very happy to join Netox’s team of experts. We believe that by joining forces we’ll be able to offer our growing customer base an even wider and more diverse range of services and continue to do it in our own way. From the very first discussions, it was clear that Netox shares the same values with Digikuu and takes care of both its customers and employees. We’re looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish together.”
