Port of Helsinki Ltd and Netox Ltd have both signed a service agreement (1 June 2022) to provide IT and cybersecurity services. The procurement targets server and capacity services, network services, cybersecurity services and end-user services.
Port of Helsinki Ltd is owned by the city of Helsinki, and it is responsible for maintaining and developing passenger and freight transport operations. Port of Helsinki operates in Vuosaari and Helsinki city centre, and at the same time, it is one of the busiest international passenger ports in Europe. It is also Finland’s leading overseas trade port.
Port of Helsinki serves the business community and well-being in the metropolitan area and around the whole country, while having a significant positive impact on the economy and employment. According to an impact study, the overall economic impact of Port of Helsinki and the traffic going through it is estimated to be around 4.1 billion euros a year.
